Our practice offers both individual and couples therapy to meet the diverse needs of our clients. In individual therapy, you'll work one-on-one with a skilled and compassionate therapist to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and supportive environment. In couples therapy, you and your partner will work with a therapist to improve your communication, deepen your connection, and resolve conflicts.
Our team of therapists is trauma-informed, compassionate, and sensitive to the unique needs of each client. We're committed to providing a safe and welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. We believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets your unique needs and goals. Our approach to therapy is non-pathologizing and non-shaming. We believe there are no bad parts of you.
Our Teletherapy Office
We offer all services online via a HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform. You can access your therapy sessions from your own safe space and spend less of your valuable time commuting.
We are a team of trauma therapists specializing in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Somatic Therapy, & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in the Greater Philadelphia Area. We are deeply committed to working from an anti-oppressive framework by denouncing systemic oppression in all forms. We acknowledge that the mental health field has a long history of perpetrating trauma against and exacerbating/neglecting the mental health needs of QTBIPOC and all other marginalized communities. We strive to celebrate liberation, equalize the power differential in the clinician/client relationship, and create space for all voices and all bodies in our work.
If you're interested in learning more about our services at Acorn Psychotherapy or scheduling an appointment, please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to the privilege of hearing your story and supporting you on your journey of healing.
